2007 Charge Conference Report

Meet the team: 

Current Status: 

1. New team members:  We have 2 new youth team members this year.  We are happy to announce that Jacob Greene and Bryan Marcus have stepped up to help the Tech Media Team serve Christ.

2. New Portable Sound System:  A new Yamaha portable sound system has been purchased and installed.  This new sound board has dual purposes.  First it is portable and can be used for off-site events (ie: church picnics, parades, services at the park).  Secondly, it allows us to control all musical instrument sound levels during worship services.  

3. Virus Protection Software Upgrade: A new virus protection suite has been put in place to ensure consistent and successful virus protection for all church connected PC’s.

4. Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Installed: A UPS system has been installed to support our church server and worship PC environment.

5. New PC Installed: A new PC has been installed to support the worship service and provide the back screen images for the team on stage.

6. New Printers Installed: 2 new printers have been installed.  1 for the tech media team and the other, a Color MPF, to support the Church Administrative Team. 

7. Website expansion and Updates:  As a communication tool for the church, our website continues to change and evolve.

8. Capital Campaign Project:  The tech team continues to help promote and support our Capital Campaign Project.

Future Plans: 

1. PC hardware and Software Upgrades:  Upgrade all church PC’s with Windows 2003 and Office 2003.

2. Team Building and Audio Team involvement:  Continue to build and grow as one team working for Christ.

3. Video Ministry Outreach:  Pursue the creation of a new Video Ministry Team.  This team would be responsible for video taping all church worship services and posting out on our website for future viewing.

4. Website expansion and updates:  Continue to expand and grow our website to help reach out to our members and others within the community.

5. Capital Campaign Project:  Continue to help communicate the vision of the church in a compelling way that people can embrace the campaign vision with wholehearted support.
